BlueCube builds cold plunges by hand in Oregon, in marine-grade 316 stainless steel. They start where most brands top out — around $11,750 — and are aimed at buyers who want a permanent, furniture-grade install, indoors or out.

What makes BlueCube different
- Moving water. BlueCube's "RiverMode" pumps keep a current flowing, which the brand says strips away the warmer layer that forms around your body in still water.
- Hidden equipment. On the Drop and Deep, the chiller, pumps and filtration sit inside the entry step, so the tub itself is just water.
- Built to last. Thick 316-L stainless steel, handbuilt to order — expect a lead time.
- Hot and cold. Most models also heat to 104°F, so one unit can double as a hot soak.
Who should buy one
- Yes: you plunge daily, want a permanent install (pool deck, gym, spa room) and value build quality over price.
- Probably not: you're still testing the habit or need something movable — start with a sub-$5,000 plunge.
